Pastor Moreno
Associate Pastor
Pastor Mark Moreno was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He went to
Central Missouri State University and graduated in 1998 with a B.A.
in English literature. Following his desire to enter the ministry,
he then attend Concordia Seminary in St. Louis where he graduated in
2002 with a Masters of Divinity. He is currently pursing a Doctorate
of Ministry at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis through long-distance
learning.
Pastor Moreno was ordained and installed August 4, 2002 at Faith 'Viera'
Lutheran Church where he continues to serve as assistant pastor. He
also serves as pastor for our outreach mission church, Hope Lutheran
Church (originally named Viera West Lutheran Mission Church) .
Pastor Moreno and a core group from Faith "Viera" organized the
Viera West Lutheran Mission Church to serve the rapidly growing
Viera area. Since beginning worship on September 11, 2005, the Viera
West congregation has continued to grow and has now moved into their
new home, 2955 Pineda Causeway at Wickham Road. Sunday Worship Time
is 9 AM with Sunday School at 10 AM
